Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Secondary School opened in 1976 and transitioned from a middle school to a full secondary school in the 1980s. The current school building was completed and opened to students in January 2006 after the original structure was demolished. It serves students in Grades 9 through 12 and is known for its spirit of inclusivity and community engagement, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds in the Malton area.
