School Motto & Values

"Together, Learning and Caring" is more than just a motto—it reflects the commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. The focus extends beyond academics, prioritizing student well-being, mental health, and social growth.

Efforts are made to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Positive mental health initiatives, inclusivity in education, and a strong sense of community are at the heart of the school's approach to learning.

About the School’s Name

Frontenac Public School is named after Louis de Buade, Comte de Frontenac (1622–1698), a French courtier and Governor General of New France. His leadership played a key role in resisting British forces, particularly during the successful defense of Quebec City in 1690.

As a strategic leader, Frontenac established forts along the Great Lakes and engaged in battles that shaped Canadian history. His legacy represents resilience, leadership, and determination—qualities reflected in the school’s mission to empower students.
